They force you to enroll in NPTEL courses, add it to your workload, count it for credit — but give zero support, zero time, zero resources. Just "complete it or face consequences." As if we don't already have enough on our plates.
Threaten to Suspend First, Ask Questions Never
Raise your voice about anything? Suspension threat. Question the fee hike? Suspension threat. Ask for a recheck? "You're being difficult." This is not education. This is control.
Lowest Placement. Then Block You From It Too.
Placement numbers are already a joke — but the real scam is this: fail a student deliberately, and now they're ineligible for the placement drive entirely. You lose your exam AND your career in one shot. It's not incompetence. It's a pipeline.
The Re-Evaluation Black Hole
Failed? First pay ₹200 per subject just to apply for re-evaluation. Then wait a full year. No interim option, no fast track, nothing. 1 year of your life on hold. And at the end of that wait? Pay ₹1000 more to appear for the backlog exam. Total cost of their mistake: your time, your placement eligibility, and your money.
No AC. 40°C. "Focus on Studies."
Lakhs in fees. Crores in "infrastructure" brochures. But the classrooms have no AC — sometimes no fans that work. Students sitting in 40 degree heat trying to concentrate while faculty reads from slides in the one air-conditioned staff room.
Trying to Be IIT. Delivering Nothing.
The brochure says "IIT-level curriculum." The reality is faculty who read from 10-year-old PDFs, can't answer questions, and disappear after attendance. IIT produces engineers. UEM produces backlog holders. The gap between the dream they sold and the degree they deliver is criminal.

The results were out on 16th in midnight and obviously website crashed and wasn't able to look at the results. But in the morning when I checked, I was in utter disbelief that the subjects I got backs are not supposed to be. Unfortunately my parents are not believing me that majority of the students are suffering. I feel very sad about not able to participate in the protest but I really want this to happen successfully from the core of my heart so that our juniors and new students don't suffer.

Absolute shit ass college, no accountability, no sense of responsibility, no due diligence was done by the institution in grading the students' copies. This feels like another iteration of the NEET 2024, 2026 and CBSE 2026 scandals. The faculties are also extremely incompetent, a faculty from the aiml dept, called priyanka asked about what type of dataset is yolo v9, yea they are that stupid. This was during our 2nd year project evaluation, in December of 2025.
